This one woman show written by Tony nominated actress Charlayne Woodard begins with a dangerous premature birth and two young parents who place their child’s survival directly in the hands of God. Pretty Fire intertwines tender memories of triumph, faith, adversity, and love from an African-American childhood that entertains while connecting to deep places of the heart.
